Jonathan A. Orsen is the
Managing Shareholder of the law firm.
A results oriented attorney, Jonathan has the
ability to resolve complex cases and obtain favorable results for
his clients.
As an experienced attorney
in the area of taxation and litigation, he practices in all areas of
Taxation and represents corporate and individual clients
before the Internal Revenue Service, the Department of Labor and
various state Departments of Revenue. Jonathan represents clients in tax controversy matters
and represents taxpayers at all controversy levels from audits and
appeals to trial and appellate litigation.
In addition, Jonathan
represents clients in General Litigation cases and various
Governmental and Criminal matters.
Jonathan graduated from the Georgetown University Law Center
earning a Master of Laws in Taxation. While at Georgetown, he
also received a Certificate in Employee Benefits Law. Jonathan
received his J.D. from Widener University School of Law in Delaware.
He earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the State
University of New York at Oswego.
Throughout his law school career,
Jonathan was a member of the Moot
Court Honor Society, Negotiation Chairperson of the Alternative
Dispute Resolution Society, and Director of the Real Property
Development Society. He received
the distinguished honor as the Best Overall Appellate Advocate in
the Moot Court Honor Society, represented the law school in the
annual ABA National Tax Moot Court Competition, and was the winner
of certain ABA Negotiation and ABA Client Counseling competitions.
Jonathan is admitted to practice in New Jersey, Pennsylvania,
United States District Court of New Jersey, United States District
Court of Pennsylvania and
the United States Tax Court and is a member of the New Jersey and
Pennsylvania Bar Associations.
